V Panel – Security of Natural Gas Supply – Prerequisite for increasing consumption

V Panel – Security of Natural Gas Supply – Prerequisite for increasing consumption

Main Congress Hall

Moderator: Adnan Rondić

Bosnia and Herzegovina is supplied with natural gas through only one gas pipeline over 40 years old, and all gas comes from one source. The existing gas pipeline cannot meet the needs of Bosnia and Herzegovina for natural gas throughout the year, which is why it is necessary to work on developing new gas infrastructure projects. The new interconnection pipelines would ensure sufficient quantities of natural gas and diversification of sources, all in order to increase the security of natural gas supply.

The purpose of this panel is to seek answers to questions on how to ensure security of natural gas supply and diversify sources of supply, how to integrate the gas system of Bosnia and Herzegovina into the regional natural gas market and increase natural gas consumption in BiH.
