Panel IX – Action for Energy Communities in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Panel IX – Action for Energy Communities in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Time: 16:40 – 17:40

Location: The main hall

Moderator: Adnan Rondić

The intention of the panel is to inform and motivate the audience in conducting the first steps toward conceptualization and financing of innovative energy projects at the local level. These innovative energy projects are referring to renewable energy (electricity and heating), energy efficiency, and e-charging through the energy community concepts (renewable energy communities and citizen energy communities). The panel will also aim to discuss how municipalities/cities in BiH, in close cooperation with citizen energy communities, individual citizens-prosumers, and businesses/investors, can develop their local renewable energy potential to become energy self-sufficient/independent and, therefore, less dependent on the external energy sources, whilst also ensuring cheaper energy, sale of surplus energy, self-consumption, and the reduction of dependence on the distribution network.
