Norway has gained extensive experience within renewable energy since the first hydropower plant was built in the 1890s. Since then, Norwegian developers, research centers, universities and the supplier industry have worked together to improve the energy industry’s performance, becoming one of the most forward leaning and innovative energy industries in the world, focusing on sustainable solutions.

In November 2022 the Norwegian Embassies in Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina hosted a renewable energy seminar in Belgrade. More than 400 participants attended. This event in Neum is a follow-up of the November event in Serbia.

In the Norwegian session, Norwegian developers/investors will present their plans in the Western Balkan region, you will learn about Norwegian suppliers and service providers’ competence, products, services, technologies and solutions. And many of them are interested to find local partners in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region. Maybe that could be you?The Norwegian Embassy in Sarajevo and Norwegian Energy Partners (NORWEP) are happy to arrange this event together with USAID in BiH.
