The United States Government, through the United States Agency for International Development’s (USAID) Energy Policy Activity Project (USAID EPA), the Delegation of the European Union to Bosnia Herzegovina and European Union Special Representative in Bosnia Herzegovina, German Government through the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Czechia, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the British Embassy Sarajevo, are organizing the Energy Summit 2024 in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which will be held April 24 – 26, 2024 at the Grand Hotel Neum in Neum.

The Energy Summit 2024 in Bosnia and Herzegovina will feature various speakers, panel discussions and side events on topics related to the energy transition in Bosnia and Herzegovina. By bringing together the efforts of businesses, financing institutions, citizens, and policy makers, a comprehensive and effective transition towards clean energy can be achieved. The Summit will also cover important topics such as CBAM, Just Energy Transition and Financing of the Energy Transition, Natural Gas Security of Supply, Electricity Power Exchange, Emission Trading System, Science and Research, Investing in Renewable Energy Plants, Network Capacities, Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency.

Focused on accelerating the energy transition, the Summit aims to build a collaborative platform for sharing knowledge, best practices, and strategies for a cleaner, more sustainable energy future in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

As in previous years, the Energy Summit is organized under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the energy sector regulatory commissions in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
