Time: 13:30 – 15:00

Location: The main hall

Moderator: Adnan Rondić

The objective of the panel is to present the importance of cyber security in the energy sector, the current situation, and the need to improve cyber security procedures and capacities in companies and organizations. Cyber-attacks are already happening across the region and in Bosnia and Herzegovina, targeting energy companies and infrastructure. The Panel will present details on the cyber-attack on Sarajevogas in August 2022, and discuss ways to prevent similar events in the future, the need to exchange information and collaborate on cyber security issues, and the need to establish a Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) for the energy sector. The panel will also address the development of the legislative framework that will define security and cyber security requirements, and the procedures that will enable energy sector participants to protect their facilities and operations in a systematic and organized manner.
